Noise Filter- Gnd - Antenna (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T30 bit
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
 Reuse/Replace The screw is self-contained to the filter.

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the screw that attaches the GND noise filter to the RH side of the liftgate, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the filter from the liftgate.
    Note
    The screw is self-contained to the filter.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 bit
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Install

  1. Connect the electrical connector, and then install the screw that attaches the GND noise filter to the RH side of the liftgate.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Note
    The screw is self-contained to the filter.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 bit
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  2. Install the liftgate lower trim. See Liftgate Lower Trim (Remove and Replace).
