Replace 1111154-00-B

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Stands.
  2. Remove the mid aero shield panel. See Aero Shield - Middle (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove and discard the nuts (x2) that attach the stabilizer bar to the end links.

    Note
    Loosen the nut first, and then continue to remove the nut by counter-holding the ball joint with a hex wrench.

    Might need to move the rear stabilizer bar up/down to get the correct angle in order to remove the end links.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  4. Support the center of the rear stabilizer bar with a support stand.
  5. Remove and discard the bolts (x4) that attach the rear stabilizer bar to the rear subframe.

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 3 in extension
    • 11 mm deep socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  6. With assistance, remove the rear stabilizer bar from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Place the rear stabilizer bar into position for installation onto the vehicle, and then raise the support stand to support the rear stabilizer bar.
  2. Install new bolts (x4) that attach the rear stabilizer bar to the rear subframe.
    30 Nm (22.1 lbs-ft)

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 3 in extension
    • 11 mm deep socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  3. Remove the support stand from underneath the vehicle.
  4. Align the LH end link with the rear stabilizer bar.

    Note
    Move the rear stabilizer bar up/down to get the correct angle to install the rear link.
  5. Install new nut that attaches the stabilizer bar to the LH end links. Mark the nut with a paint pen.
    55 Nm (40.6 lbs-ft)

  6. Repeat step 4 and step 5 on the right side of the vehicle.
  7. Install the mid aero shield panel. See Aero Shield - Middle (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
