Air Vent - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

  • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the LH B-pillar air duct. See Air Duct - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the air vent to the LH B-pillar trim assembly.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Release the locator clips (x6) that attach the air vent to the LH B-pillar trim assembly, and then remove the air vent from the trim assembly.

Install

  1. Install the locator clips (x6) that attach the air vent to the LH B-pillar trim.
    Note
    Make sure that all clips are fully engaged.
  2. Install the screws (x3) that attach the air vent to the LH B-pillar trim.
    1.3 Nm (1.0 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install the LH B-pillar air duct. See Air Duct - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
