Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Release the clips (x10), locator pins (x7), and tabs (x2) that attach the liftgate upper trim to the liftgate, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use a plastic trim tool to release the side clips first and the upper clips last.

Install

  1. Install the liftgate upper trim from the vehicle.
    Note
    Check and replace any damaged clips before installation.
    Note
    Align and install the locator pins on the top portion of the trim first, and then install the rest part of the trim.
    Note
    Ensure the tabs are aligned with the liftgate lower trim.
  2. Close the liftgate.
