Airbag Ramp - C-Pillar - LH (Remove and Replace)

  • 10 mm socket
Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the rear headliner panel. See Rear Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  4. Push open LH coathook, and open LH coathook screw cover.
  5. Remove LH coathook screw.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Torque wrench 1/4" hexagon (0.2Nm-4Nm) (Installation only)
  6. Release LH rear section of headliner from body.
  7. Remove bolt securing LH airbag ramp to body.

  8. Remove LH airbag ramp.

Install

  1. Install LH airbag ramp.
  2. Install bolt securing LH airbag ramp to body.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Secure LH rear section of headliner to body.
  4. Install LH coathook screw.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

  5. Close LH coathook screw cover and push LH coathook closed.
  6. Install the rear headliner panel. See Rear Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the LH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trunk Side Trim LH - Rear Under Body (Remove and Replace).
