Brace - Rear Subframe (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the rear fascia diffuser. See Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  2. Position the support stand to support the rear portion of the rear subframe.
  3. Remove the RH side 12V subframe harness clip from the rear subframe brace.
  4. Remove the LH and RH rear bolts (x2) that attach the rear subframe brace to the rear subframe, then carefully remove the brace while holding it firmly with your hands to prevent it from falling.

Replace

  1. Install the LH and RH rear bolts (x2) that attach the rear subframe brace to the rear subframe, and mark each bolt after torquing.
    125 Nm (92.2 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the RH side 12V subframe harness clip onto the rear subframe brace.
  3. Remove the support stand from underneath the rear portion of the rear subframe.
  4. Install the rear fascia diffuser. See Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace).
