Cup Holder - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Install

  1. With an assistant, install the center console into the vehicle as follows:
    1. Tilt the front of the center console downwards.
    2. Slide the center console towards the front of the vehicle.
    3. Tilt the rear of the center console downwards until it is in place.
  2. Secure the connector clip and connect the center console connector.
  3. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  4. Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  5. Install the LH and RH side bolts (x4) that attach the center console to the vehicle.
    7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  6. Install the center console LH and RH front side panels. See Side Panel - Center Console - Front - RH (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
  7. Install the rear bolts (x2) that attach the center console to the vehicle.
    7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft)
