Cup Holder - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console rear end panel. See Air Vent Cover - Rear - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the center console middle panel. See Inductive Charger Module (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
  3. Open the armrest.
  4. Remove the screws (x9) that secure the cup holder assembly.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  5. Release the clips to remove the cup holder assembly.
    Note
    Release the rear clips first, then middle clips, and then front clips. The LH and RH sides must be released simultaneously.

Install

  1. Release the clips to remove the cup holder assembly.
    Note
    Release the rear clips first, then middle clips, and then front clips. The LH and RH sides must be released simultaneously.
  2. Install the screws (x9) that secure the cup holder assembly.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Close the armrest.
  4. Install the center console middle panel. See Inductive Charger Module (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
  5. Install the center console rear end panel. See Air Vent Cover - Rear - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
