Procedure

The following procedures are not standalone. They conditionally supplement DPB bleed procedures, and require that the rear underhood apron and front wheels have already been removed.
  1. Enable Service Mode Plus through the Vehicle Ops app. See Service Mode Plus.
  2. Clean the area around the brake fluid reservoir breather cap and remove the cap.
  3. Add clean brake fluid to the full level in the bleeder reservoir.
  4. Add clean brake fluid to the MAX level in the reservoir.
  5. Install the pressure bleeder adapter onto the vehicle brake reservoir.
  6. Connect power supply to the bleeder tool, and then turn the bleeder tool on.
  7. Set the brake bleed reservoir pressure to 30 PSI, and then attach the brake bleed reservoir to the brake bleed adapter.
  8. Bleed the LH front caliper.
    1. Remove the LH front caliper inner bleed valve cover, and then install the fluid catcher.
    2. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Chassis > Brakes > Enter/Exit Assembly Mode, select SET in the drop list, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    3. Open the inner bleed valve and watch the fluid as it flows out of the caliper.
    4. Have the assistant fully press the brake pedal for 2 seconds and then release.
    5. Press the brake pedal again. Repeat the bleed process until the LH front caliper fluid is free of air bubbles and old fluids.
    6. Remove the fluid catcher, and then torque the LH front caliper inner bleed valve and install the inner valve cap.
