 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the extension harness assembly. See Extension Harness Assembly - Center Console - Premium (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
    Note
    During removal, certain steps require extra care. See the animation(s) for detailed guidance.
  2. Remove and discard the screws (x2) that attach the airwave assembly to the rear display.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the airwave assembly to the vent cover panel assembly.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  4. Remove the airwave assembly from the vent cover panel assembly.

Install

  1. Position the airwave assembly to the vent cover panel assembly.
  2. Install the screws (x2) that attach the airwave assembly to the vent cover panel assembly.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  3. Install new screws (x2) (1096312-00-C) that attach the airwave assembly to the rear display.
    1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  4. Install the extension harness assembly. See Extension Harness Assembly - Center Console - Premium (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
