Module - Ambient Light - Front Door (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the LH front door ambient light LED module connector.
  3. Release the tabs (x3) that attach the LH front door ambient light LED module to the bracket.

    Note
    Do not over-pull the LED module. Be careful not to damage the ambient light.
  4. Use a 45-degree-tip pick to carefully release the tabs (x2) on both sides of the LED module, and then slide the module backwards to remove it from the vehicle.

    Ensure not to damage the ambient light and the tabs during the process.

Install

  1. Align the location bar on the module bracket to the location slot on the module, slide the module into the bracket and make sure the tabs (x2) on the both sides of the LED module clipped into position.

  2. Fully push the LH front door ambient light LED module into the module bracket and make sure the tabs (x3) are clipped into position.

  3. Connect the LH front door ambient light LED module connector.
  4. Install the front door trim panel. See Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
