Light - Dome - 3rd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Install)

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
  2. Move the LH 2nd row seat backward.

    Adjust the seat back if needed to avoid contacting other components.
  3. Remove the rear map light bezel. See Bezel - Map Light - Rear - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Open the liftgate.
  5. Remove the rear headliner. See Rear Headliner (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Release the clips (x2) and locator pin to partially release the rear center section of the headliner from the body.
  7. Carefully insert an inflatable airbag between the rear section of the headliner and the body, and inflate the airbag for enough space to access the dome light.

    CAUTION
    Take care not to damage the headliner.
  8. Disconnect the LH 3rd row seat dome light connector.
  9. Remove the screw that attaches the LH 3rd row seat dome light to the headliner, and then release the tabs (x2) to remove the light from the vehicle.

    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Install

  1. Align the tabs (x2) to install the light to the vehicle, and then install the screw that attaches the LH 3rd row seat dome light to the headliner.
    0.65 Nm (6 lbs-in)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T10 bit
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  2. Connect the LH 3rd row seat dome light connector.
  3. Deflate the inflatable airbag, and then remove it from the vehicle.
  4. Install the clips (x2) and locator pin to secure the rear center section of the headliner to the body.
  5. Install the rear headliner. See Rear Headliner (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the seal at the rear center section of the headliner.

    Note
    Ensure that the seal covers the interior trim panel.
  7. Close the liftgate.
  8. Move the LH 2nd row seat back to its original position.
  9. Install the rear map light bezel. See Bezel - Map Light - Rear - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Raise the LH rear window and close the LH rear door.
