Front Drive Unit Inverter To Oil Cooler (Remove and Install)

Equipment:
  • 1080568-00-A Fluid Catcher
  • 1135762-00-A Kit, Svc Plug, Cooling Hose, Model 3
  • 1065131-00-A Battery Coolant Drain Kit

Remove

  1. Remove front drive unit powertrain return hose from right side of the vehicle. See Front Drive Unit Powertrain Return Hose (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove coolant drain container from underneath vehicle.
  3. Lower vehicle partially and set onto locks.
  4. Remove inverter to oil cooler hose from front drive unit.

Install

  1. Position inverter to oil cooler hose onto front drive unit.
    Note
    Place coolant plug on lower end of hose to avoid coolant loss from coolant bottle.
  2. Install front drive unit powertrain return hose to right side of the vehicle. See Front Drive Unit Powertrain Return Hose (Remove and Install).
