Side Panel - Rear - Center Console - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Use the cushion button and recline button to move the driver seat assembly and seat back rearward.
    Note
    This is to gain enough space to remove the center console rear side panel.
  3. Carefully release the clips (x12) and locator pins (x2) that attach the center console rear side panel carpet to the center console, and then remove the rear side panel from the vehicle.
    Note
    Use a trim tool and start at the top and side edge of the LH side rear panel carpet to release the clips, and then work around to release the remaining clips.
    CAUTION
    Take care of not damaging the panel during removal.

Install

  1. Install the clips (x12) and locator pins (x2) that attach the LH center console rear side panel to the center console.
    Note
    Make sure that all clips are properly engaged.
  2. Move the driver seat to its original position.
  3. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
