Remove
- Open the liftgate.
- Use a prop to support the liftgate.

Release the LH liftgate power strut clip, separate the LH liftgate power strut from
the ball stud, and then move the power strut aside.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH ball strut bracket to the body, and then
remove the bracket from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
Install

Position the LH liftgate ball stud bracket into the vehicle and then install the
bolts (x2) that attach the ball stud bracket to the vehicle.NaN Nm (NaN lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket

Install the clip that attaches the LH upper power strut to the ball stud.
NoteEnsure that the clip has been reset before securing.
- Remove the liftgate support.
- Close the liftgate.
