Armrest Inner Assembly - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear end module. See Rear End Module - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the armrest. See Center Console - Armrest Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  3. Release the clips and datums to remove the armrest inner assembly.

    Note
    Start to release the clips from the front edge of armrest, and then work towards the hinge side. Put the trim tool as close to the clip as possible when releasing the clips. Be careful not to damage the clips. Discard the part if any damage occurs.

Install

  1. Align the datums on the inner assembly to the holes on the armrest, and then secure the clips that attach the armrest inner assembly to the armrest.

    Note
    Install a new part if the original part had any damage during removal. Ensure the inner assembly engages well to the hinge arms.
