Camera - Interior (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  2. Remove the quad camera upper cover assembly. See Quad Camera Cover Upper (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove and discard the screws (x2) that attach the interior camera to the upper camera cover, and then remove the interior camera from the upper camera cover.

    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm (installation only)

Replace

  1. Install new bolts that attach the interior camera to the upper camera cover.
    0.8 Nm (7 lbs-in)

    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm (installation only)
  2. Install the quad camera upper cover assembly. See Quad Camera Cover Upper (Remove and Replace).
  3. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  4. Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  5. Unlock the gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  6. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Driver Assist > Cameras > Update Camera, select INTERIOR in the drop list, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  7. Press and hold the Exit Service Mode button on the UI to exit Service Mode Plus.
  8. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
