Warning
Seat base edges are
sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat
from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat
base.
Remove

Remove the driver seat cushion foam
heat pad from the seat cushion foam, and then discard the foam with heat pad and
occupancy sensor on it. See Foam - Cushion - Driver Seat (Model YL / Model Y Performance) (Remove and Replace).
Install
- Install the new driver seat cushion foam heat pad and occupant sensor to the new seat back foam, and then install the seat cushion assembly to the vehicle. See Foam - Cushion - Driver Seat (Model YL / Model Y Performance) (Remove and Replace).
