Header Seal - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Partially release the LH front primary body seal from the vehicle to gain access to the header seal.

    Start from the upper corner closest to the B-pillar applique, and then pull straight down along the length of the seal to fully release the seal from the upper brightwork.
  3. Partially release the LH rear primary body seal from the vehicle to gain access to the header seal.

  4. Release the clip that attaches the LH header seal to the LH upper bright trim cap, and then pull down to release the remaining portion of the seal.

    Start from the middle A-pillar and work rearward.

Install

  1. Position the LH header seal onto the vehicle, and then fasten clip that attaches the seal to the LH A-pillar.
  2. Install the remaining portion of the LH header seal.

    Note
    Make sure that both ends of the header seal properly engage to the vehicle.
  3. Press up to fasten the LH front primary body seal onto the LH upper brightwork.

    Make sure the seal fully engages the brightwork.
  4. Install the LH rear primary body seal to the vehicle.

  5. Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
