Place the vehicle on the 2-post
lift.
TIpEnsure the vehicle is not charging.
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.

Enable the EPB Service Mode.
- Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).

While holding the brake pedal, tap
the Service Mode "wrench" at the bottom of the touchscreen UI, and then tap
Both in the
EPB Selection
dropping list, and select Start in theAction Selection
dropping list. Click Run, and allow the routine to complete. , select

field can also be selected as Left/Right as needed. - Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Disconnect the LH rear EPB caliper connector.

Remove the bolt that attaches the LH
rear EPB harness bracket to the LH rear caliper.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Remove the LH rear brake hose. See BRAKE HOSE - REAR - LEFT HAND - BASE (Remove and Replace).

Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that
attach the LH rear brake caliper to the knuckle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 3/8 in to ½ in adapter
- External Torx E18
- Breaker bar
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Install new bolts (x2) that attach the LH rear brake caliper to the knuckle.83 Nm (61.2 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 3/8 in to ½ in adapter
- External Torx E18
- Breaker bar
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Install the LH rear brake hose. See BRAKE HOSE - REAR - LEFT HAND - BASE (Remove and Replace).

Install the bolt that attaches the LH
rear EPB harness bracket to the LH rear caliper.5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)NoteMake sure the tab is in place.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the LH rear EPB caliper connector.
- Remove the oil drain from underneath the LH rear brake hose area.
- Lower the vehicle to a comfortable working height and set the lift onto locks.

Perform a brake fluid flush on the LH
rear brake. See .
NotePerform step 8 before performing the stiffness test.

On the touchscreen, tap the Service
Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Both in the
EPB Selection
dropping list, and select Stop in theAction Selection
