Headlamp Assembly - RH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Disconnect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  2. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH headlight.

    Note
    Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.
  4. Remove the harness from the RH headlamp harness bracket.

    Note
    Press the slide tabs (x2) to unlock them, then slide the harness out along the arrow direction shown in the image below.
  5. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the RH headlamp to the vehicle.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  6. Remove the RH headlamp from the vehicle.

    Note
    Carefully pull the RH headlamp away from the vehicle to release the alignment stud, and release the clips (x2) that attach the headlamp to the vehicle.

Install

  1. Align the RH headlight alignment stud to the slot in the vehicle, and then install the clips (x2) that attach the headlight to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the RH headlight to the vehicle.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Install the harness to the RH headlamp harness bracket.

    Note
    Insert the harness along the arrow direction shown in the image below, and engage the slide tabs (x2) when fully seated.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the RH headlight.
  5. Install the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  6. Connect the LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
