Harness - Wheel Speed Sensor - Rear - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness connector clip from the rear subframe.
  3. Disconnect the LH rear wheel speed sensor connector from the subframe harness.

    Note
    Use a clip pry tool to unlock the red locking tab to disconnect the connector.
  4. Remove the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness retainer clip from the subframe.
  5. Remove the clip that attaches the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness to the knuckle.
  6. Disconnect the LH rear wheel speed sensor and accelerometer 2 connector, and then remove the wheel speed sensor harness.

    Note
    Disengage the red locking tab backwards, and then press the black tab to disconnect the connector.

Install

  1. Connect the LH rear wheel speed sensor and accelerometer 2 connector and engage the red locking tab.
  2. Install the clip that attaches the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness to the knuckle.

    Note
    Replace the clip if it is damaged.
  3. Install the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness retainer clip to the subframe.

    Replace the clip if it is damaged.
  4. Connect the LH rear wheel speed sensor connector to the subframe harness.

    Note
    Hold the connector on the subframe side, and then the push wheel speed sensor connector inward and engage the red locking tab.
  5. Install the LH rear wheel speed sensor harness connector clip to the rear subframe.
  6. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
