Headrest Post Guide - Driver Seat (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the driver seat headrest frame mechanism. See Frame Mechanism - Headrest - Driver Seat (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
    Note
    During removal, certain steps require extra care. See the animation(s) for detailed guidance.
  2. Remove the tabs (x2) and locator pins (x2) that attach the driver seat upper substrate to the driver seat back frame, and then remvoe the substrate from the vehicle.
  3. Release the bayonets (x2) on both sides of the driver seat headrest post guide, and then remove the post guide from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the driver seat headrest post guide to the driver seat frame, and engage the bayonets (x2) to fully secure the post guide.
  2. Align the driver seat upper substrate to the driver seat headrest post guide, and then install the tabs (x2) and locator pins (x2) that attach the substrate to the driver seat back frame.
  3. Install the driver seat headrest frame mechanism. See Frame Mechanism - Headrest - Driver Seat (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
