Equipment:
- 1453028-00-A - KIT, BADGE REMOVAL
- 1049517-00-A - SEAM ROLLER, SILICONE, 5"
- 2213227-00-A - 2025+ MY LONG RANGE BADGE JIG
Remove
- Cut a piece of fishing line approx. 60 cm (24 in) in length.

Tie slip knots at both ends
of the fishing line and attach each of them to the center groove of the
handle.

Move the badge removal tool
in a sawing motion to separate the "Long Range" badge from the
liftgate.
- Use IPA wipes to clean all adhesive residue and debris from the lower RH liftgate surface.
Install

Slowly peel the backing of
the "LONG RANGE" badge.

Install the "LONG RANGE"
badge on the jig (2213227-00-A). Align the holes of the protective film with
the location pins on the jig.

Close the liftgate, and then
position the jig with the badge on the liftgate.
NoteUse a seam roller to firmly affix the badge to the liftgate.

Carefully peel off the
protective film from the badge, and then remove the jig from the
liftgate.

Use an IPA wipe to clean the
badge and the area around the badge.
NoteMake sure that all edges of the badge are securely affixed to the liftgate surface.
