Remove
- Remove the tail lamp assembly from the liftgate. See Tail Lamp - Liftgate (Remove and Install).
Install

Install the tail lamp assembly to the
liftgate. See Tail Lamp - Liftgate (Remove and Install).
NoteWhen replacing the part, since the tail light assembly comes with a new camera, there is no need to install the camera onto the tail light. Simply connect the rear-facing camera connector.
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).

On the touchscreen, tap the Service
Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap
RearView
in theCamera Selection
drop list, click Run, and allow the routine to complete. , select - Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).

In Toolbox 3.0, perform the following
steps.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Back Up" into the search field, click PING-HTTP_DAS_X_BACKUP-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox: (link), change the timeout to 100, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_EXIT-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop.

Press and hold the
Exit Service Mode
button on the UI to exit Service Mode Plus. - Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
