USB Panel - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the phone dock assembly from the center console. See USB Controller (VCUSB) - Center Console (Model Y Standard) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the inductive charger module from the phone dock.
    1. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the inductive charger module to the phone dock.

      TIp
      Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
      • 1/4in Dr T20 Socket
    2. Release the guides (x2) and datums (x2) that attach the inductive charger module to the phone dock.
    3. Release the tabs (x2) at the top of the inductive charger module, and then angle the module up and remove it from the phone dock.

Install

  1. Install the inductive charger module to the phone dock.
    1. Slide the inductive charger module into the phone dock datums (x2) and guides (x2), and then fully engage the tabs (x2) at the top of the module.
    2. Install the screws (x3) that attach the inductive charger module to the phone dock.
      1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
