Seat base edges are sharp and can cause personal injury. Wear cut resistant gloves when removing the seat from the vehicle, and while performing procedures that involve work on or near the seat base.

Install

  1. Install the front passenger seat. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
  3. In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, type "Seat Calibration" into the search field, click PROC_VCRIGHT_SEAT-CALIBRATEvia Service Mode Plus:Low Voltage ➜ Seats ➜ Calibratevia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  4. Disconnect the laptop.
  5. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  6. Move the RH front seat to original position.
  7. Raise both front windows and close both front doors.
