Remove

  1. Open all four doors and lower all four windows.
  2. Enter Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  3. Unlock Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  4. Select Chassis > Brakes > EPB Service Mode, click BOTH in EPB Selection, and START in Action Selection, and click Run to allow the routine complete.
  5. Remove 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove LH upper B pillar trim See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove LH B-pillar applique. See B-Pillar Applique - LH (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove LH front seat front and rear bolts. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).

    Note
    Do not remove the seat from vehicle in this step.
  9. Repeat step 6to step7 for RH side.
  10. Remove LH trunk rucket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Modify).
  12. Remove RH front seat from vehicle. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  13. Remove LH front seat from vehicle. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  14. Remove center console assembly from vehicle. See Center Console (Remove and Install).
  15. Remove LH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  16. Remove RH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  17. Disconnect front harness white connector X909 from LH body harness.
  18. Disconnect J5 body connector from VCLEFT.
  19. Disconnect J2 body connector from VCLEFT.
  20. Disconnect J4 body connector from VCLEFT.
  21. Remove bolt securing ground harness LH A-pillar area.

    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  22. Disconnect headliner harness connector.
  23. Release LH body harness clips from LH A-pillar.
  24. Release LH body harness clips from LH front sill area.
  25. Release LH body harness clips under front seats and center console.
  26. Remove harness clips from 1st row podium.
  27. Disconnect LH body harness connector from RCM.
  28. Disconnect LH body harness connectors from below RH front seat.
  29. Release LH harness clips from below LH B-pillar area.
  30. Release LH body harness clips from LH B-pillar side area.
  31. Disconnect LH front retractor connectors.
  32. Disconnect LH B pillar accelerometer sensor connector.
  33. Release grommet connector then remove LH rear door harness from B-pillar area.

    Note
    Pry at both the top and then the bottom of rear door harness grommet while pulling away from B-pillar to release door harness.
  34. Remove LH rear door harness connector from B-pillar area.
  35. Remove LH body harness from under front seats and center console.

    Ensure that the LH body harness is drawn without resistance.
  36. Remove LH body harness ground strap from LH rear sill area.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  37. Disconnect 2nd row 60 seat connector.
  38. Release LH body harness from rear body and move aside.
  39. Release clips LH body harness to rear body and move aside.
  40. Disconnect LH 2nd row retractor connector.
  41. Release LH rear section of headliner from body. See Rear Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  42. Disconnect LH power strut connector.
  43. Disconnect harness connector for LH side curtain air bag.

    Note
    Lift the white tab to release the connector.
  44. Release LH body harness clips around LH C-pillar area.
  45. Disconnect charge port ECU two connectors.
  46. Release LH body harness clips from LH side trunk area.
  47. Disconnect connectors from chargeport assembly.
  48. Remove LH body harness ground strap from LH side trunk area.

  49. Remove rear fascia diffuser. See Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  50. Disconnect LH rear EPB harness connector.

  51. Release LH body harness clips from LH rear RUB area.
  52. Lower vehicle partially and set onto locks.
  53. Push LH body harness through LH wheelhouse outer assembly.

  54. Remove LH body harness from vehicle.

Install

  1. Position LH body harness onto vehicle.
  2. Push LH body harness through LH wheelhouse outer assembly.

    Note
    Harness passes through LH wheelhouse outer assembly, and make sure to install grommet in proper orientation.
  3. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks.
  4. Secure LH body harness clips to LH rear RUB area.
  5. Connect LH rear EPB harness connector.
  6. Install rear fascia diffuser. See Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install LH body harness ground strap to LH side trunk area.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  8. Secure LH body harness clips onto LH side trunk area.
  9. Connect connectors to chargeport assembly.
  10. Connect charge port ECU two connectors.
  11. Secure LH body harness clips around LH C-pillar area.
  12. Connect harness connector for LH side curtain air bag.

    Note
    When the connector is fully seated, you will hear the click sound of the secondary locking pin returning.
  13. Connect LH power strut harness connector.
  14. Secure LH rear section of headliner to body. See Rear Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  15. Connect LH 2nd row retractor connector.
  16. Fasten clips LH body harness to rear body.
  17. Install LH body harness onto rear body.
  18. Connect 2nd row 60 seat connector.
  19. Install LH body harness ground strap to LH rear sill area.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  20. Install LH body harness to under front seats and center console.
  21. Install LH rear door harness connector to B-pillar area.
  22. Install LH rear door harness connector to B-pillar.
  23. Connect B pillar accelerometer sensor connector.
  24. Connect LH front retractor connectors.

    Note
    When the connector is fully seated, you will hear the click sound of the secondary locking pin returning.
  25. Secure LH body harness clips to LH B-pillar side area.
  26. Secure LH harness clips to below B-pillar area.
  27. Connect LH body harness connectors to below RH front seat.
  28. Connect LH body harness connector to RCM.
  29. Install harness clip to 1st row podium.
  30. Secure LH body harness clips under front seats and center console.
  31. Secure LH body harness clips to LH front sill area.
  32. Secure LH body harness clips to LH A-pillar.
  33. Connect headliner harness connector.
  34. Install bolt securing ground harness LH A-pillar area.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  35. Connect J4 body connector to VCLEFT.
  36. Connect J2 body connector to VCLEFT.
  37. Connect J5 body connector to VCLEFT.
  38. Connect front harness white connector X909 to LH body harness.
  39. Install RH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  40. Install LH front cabin carpet. See Cabin Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  41. Install center console assembly to vehicle. See Center Console (Remove and Install).
  42. Install LH and RH B-pillar applique. See B-Pillar Applique - LH (Remove and Install).
  43. Install LH and RH upper B pillar trim See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  44. Install LH front seat to vehicle. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  45. Install RH front seat to vehicle. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  46. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Modify).
  47. Install LH front seat front and rear bolts. See 1st Row Seat- LH (Remove and Install).
  48. Install seat belt retractor to RH front seat pre tensioner.

    Note
    Insert retractor into seat pre tensioner, Make sure it locks into position with push-pull-push test.
  49. Connect 2nd seat dump switch.
  50. Secure charge port manual release cable onto cable bracket.
  51. Install LH trunk rucket bracket. See Pocket Bracket - LH (Remove and Replace).
  52. Install LH rear section of headliner to body. See Rear Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  53. Install 2nd row seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  54. Unlock Gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  55. Enter Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  56. Select Brakes > EPB Service Mode, click BOTH in EPB Selection, and STOP in Action Selection, and click Run to allow the routine complete.
  57. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  58. Remove wheel chocks.
  59. Raise all windows and Close all four doors.
