Charge Port Door - GB Standard（Model Y L) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the charge port. See Charge Port (GB) (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the charge port harness connector from the charge port ECU.
  3. Release the charge port door harness grommet from the body.
  4. Remove the charge port door assembly from the vehicle.
    1. Release the tab and clips (x2), then push the door outward.
    2. Slide the door rearward until the actuator clears the quarter panel.
    3. Depress and pull the door down to disengage it from the mechanism.

Replace

  1. Install the charge port door assembly onto the vehicle.
    1. Install the door by pivoting it so the actuator mechanism clears underneath the quarter panel.
    2. Slide the door forward toward the rear door.
    3. Fully align the door to the body and secure the tab and clips (x2).
  2. Secure the charge port door harness grommet to the body.
  3. Connect the charge port harness connector to the charge port ECU.
  4. Install the charge port. See Charge Port (GB) (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace).
