Remove
- Perform the vehicle HV disablement procedure. See Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure.
- Remove the rear skid plate. See High Voltage Battery Assembly - Skid Plate - Rear (Remove and Replace).

With assistance, remove the rear 4 of the center ski cover bolts from the HV
battery.
NoteThe short bolts are at both ends, the long bolts are in the middle.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- External Torx Plus EP14
- Put on the HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves.
- Release tabs (x2) and a locating clip to remove the top ski bracket from the RDU (Rear Drive Unit) side of the center ski.
Install
- Position the top ski bracket onto the RDU side of the center ski, and secure the locating clip and the tabs (x2).
- Remove the HV insulating gloves.

- Install the 2nd row seat cushion. See 2ND ROW SEAT CUSHION (Remove and Replace).
- Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
