Torque Specifications

Screw that secures the 12V noise filter
2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T30 bit
  • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 Reuse The screw is self-contained to the filter.

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate upper trim. See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the liftgate lower trim. See LIFTGATE LOWER TRIM - REAR SPEAKER (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the 12V noise filter from the backlite glass.
  4. Remove the screw that attaches the 12V noise filter to the vehicle, and then disconnect the electrical connector.

Install

  1. Install the screw that attaches the 12V noise filter to the vehicle, and then connect the electrical connector.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

  2. Connect the 12V noise filter to the backlite glass.

  4. Install the liftgate upper trim. See LIFTGATE UPPER TRIM (Remove and Replace).
