Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows and .
  2. Partially lower the rear subframe and drive unit assembly. See .

    Note
    Do not overstrain these components, the dampers and brake calipers are still connected.
  3. Release the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle, and then remove the rear motor bay noise absorber.

Install

  1. Position the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle, and then install the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay noise absorber to the vehicle.
  2. Install the rear subframe assembly. See .
  3. Raise all windows and close all doors.
