HVAC - Thermistor - RH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all four doors and lower all four windows.
  2. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Steering and use the left steering wheel scroll wheel to adjust the steering column fully outward and downward.
  3. Remove the center console assembly. See Center Console (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH and RH lower A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the instrument panel lower assembly. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the LH and RH footwell ducts. See Footwell Duct - Driver (Remove and Replace) and Footwell Duct - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the RH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - RH (Remove and Install).
  9. Remove the LH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the cowl top foam. See Cowl Top Foam - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the cross car beam. See Beam - Cross Car (Remove and Replace).
    Note
    It is not necessary to remove the LH and RH display support brackets from the cross car beam.
  12. Disconnect RH lower duct thermistor connector.
  13. Remove RH lower duct thermistor from HVAC.

Install

  1. Install the RH lower duct thermistor to HVAC.
  2. Connect RH lower duct thermistor connector.
  3. Install the cross car beam. See Beam - Cross Car (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the cowl top foam. See Cowl Top Foam - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the RH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - RH (Remove and Install).
  7. Install the LH and RH footwell ducts. See Footwell Duct - Driver (Remove and Replace) and Footwell Duct - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the instrument panel lower assembly. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the LH and RH lower A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the center console assembly. See Center Console (Remove and Install).
  12. Move the LH and RH front seats back to the original positions.
  13. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Steering and use the left steering wheel scroll wheel to adjust the steering column back to the original position.
  14. Raise all four windows and close all four doors.
