Equipment:

Remove

  1. Open both front doors and lower both front windows.
  2. Remove the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the wrap around assembly. See Speaker Grille - Instrument Panel (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the LH instrument panel speaker screws (x3).

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 1450424-00-B - 78PCS DOUBLE END MINI RATCHET BIT SET
    • Torx T20 bit
  5. Release the speaker connector, and then remove the LH instrument panel speaker.

Install

  1. Connect the LH instrument panel speaker connector.
  2. Install the LH instrument panel speaker screws (x3).
    2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the wrap around assembly. See Speaker Grille - Instrument Panel (Remove and Install).
  4. Install the LH and RH upper A-pillar trims. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Raise both front windows and close both front doors.
