Remove
- Remove the upper B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Push open the LH coat hook.
- Open the LH coat hook screw cover.

Remove the LH coat hook screw.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- Torx T25 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)

Partially release the LH headliner,
and then remove the screw that attaches the LH front headliner to the body tether.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)

Install an inflatable air bag to
support the LH headliner.
NoteTake care not to over-support.
- Gently pry up the tabs (x3) to release the LH coat hook bezel from the headliner.
- Release the electrical harness clips (x2), and then disconnect the LH rear map light connector.

Remove the screws (x7) that attach the
LH coat hook and map light assembly to the vehicle, and then rotate the coat hook bezel
to remove the assembly from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)
Install

Rotate the coat hook bezel to install the LH coat hook and map assembly to the
vehicle, and then install the screws (x7).1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)
- Connect the LH rear map light connector, and then install the electrical harness clips (x2).

Secure the tabs (x3) to install the LH
coat hook bezel to the headliner.
NoteMake sure the tabs are properly installed.
- Release the air and remove the inflatable air bag.

Install the screw that attaches the LH front headliner to the body tether.2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)

Install the LH coat hook screw.2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- Torx T25 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Wurth ¼ in hexagon 1 Nm - 5 Nm torque wrench (installation only)
- Close the LH coat hook screw cover.
- Push the LH coat hook closed.
- Install the upper B-pillar trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
