Assembly - Front Controller Gen 3 (Remove and Replace)

Install

  1. Install the front body controller. See Assembly - Front Controller Gen 3 (Remove and Install).
  2. Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).
  3. Reinstall the vehicle software. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  4. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode “wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Controls > Low Voltage > Procedures > VCFRONT Post Replacement > VCFRONT Post Replacement, click Run to allow the routine to run.
  5. Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
  6. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
