40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
  • SKT, 3/8" DR, HEX BIT, T50 TORX
 Replace The bolt comes with the buckle assembly.

Remove

  1. Remove the 3rd row center outer B-cover. See B-Cover - Center Outer - 3rd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row center inner B-cover to the seat frame assembly.
  3. Remove the screw that attaches the 3rd row center inner B-cover to the seat frame assembly.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
  4. Remove the 3rd row LH buckle harness clips (x3) from the center inner B-cover.
  5. Remove the trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle connector.
  7. Release the clip that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle connector to the seat back frame.
  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle to the seat assembly.

    Note
    Gently move the 3rd row center inner B-cover outward to access the bolt and buckle.

Replace

  1. Install the bolt that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle to the seat assembly.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    • SKT, 3/8" DR, HEX BIT, T50 TORX

    Note
    Gently move the 3rd row center inner B-cover outward to access the bolt and buckle.
  2. Secure the clip that attaches the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle connector to the seat back frame.
  3. Connect the 3rd row LH seat belt buckle connector.
  4. Install the trunk tub. See Trunk Tub (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the 3rd row LH buckle harness clips (x3) to the center inner B-cover.
  6. Install the screw that attaches the 3rd row center inner B-cover to the seat frame assembly.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)

  7. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 3rd row center inner B-cover to the seat frame assembly.
  8. Install the 3rd row center outer B-cover. See B-Cover - Center Outer - 3rd Row (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
