Install

  1. Install the pedestrian protection pressure tube sensor to the bumper beam foam. See the Bumper Beam Foam (Remove and Replace).
  2. Unlock the vehicle gateway, See .
  3. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): PROC_RCM_X_SERVICE-TASKSvia Service Mode Plus:Safety & Restraints ➜ Safety Testing ➜ RCM Service Tasksvia Toolbox:(link)
  4. Exit Service Mode.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
