Charge Port - Manual Release of Cable (Maintenance)

Procedure

  1. Ensure the vehicle is not actively charging.
    Warning
    Do not perform this procedure while the vehicle is charging.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Locate the manual release cable through the hole in the rear upper corner of the LH trunk side trim.
  4. Pull and hold the manual release cable rearward to actuate, and then remove the charge cable from the charge port.
    Note
    Do not release the manual release cable while removal, or the cable will return to normal position.
  5. Close the charge port door.
  6. Close the liftgate.
