SUBWOOFER (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  • 10 in extension
  • 10 mm deep socket
Replace 1137563-00-A

Remove

  1. Remove the RH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the subwoofer electrical connector.
  3. Remove the bolts (x2) and the nyloc nut that attach the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.

    Note
    Discard the nyloc nut after removal.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 10 in extension
    • 10 mm deep socket

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x2) and a new nyloc nut (1137563-00-A) to attach the subwoofer assembly to the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    The bolts are 8 Nm and the nyloc nut is 6 Nm.

  2. Connect the subwoofer electrical connector.
  3. Install the RH upper C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
