Remove

  1. Remove the seat cushion pad assembly from the LH 2nd row seat assembly. Trim - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove and discard both the LH 2nd row seat belt buckle and the bolt that attaches the buckle to the cushion frame assembly.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  3. Release the clip and disconnect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector.
  4. Remove the push clip securing the inboard side shield carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
  5. Remove the inboard side shield carrier from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly by first releasing the clip, then carefully detaching the carrier.

    Avoid excessive force to prevent damage to decorative pieces.
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) and location pins (x2) securing the inboard bolster carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

    • SKT 3/8" DR, SHALLOW, 11MM
  7. Remove the outboard side shield carrier from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame. See Outboard Side Shield Carrier - 2nd Row - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the ECU mounting bezel and seat module assembly. See ECU Mounting Bezel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the seat cushion blower. See Blower - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  11. Remove the harness clamps (x6) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly and place the harness to one side.
  12. Remove and discard the outboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat back frame to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

  13. Remove and discard the inboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat back frame to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

  14. Rotate the seat back frame away from the seat cushion frame, then lift the seat back frame straight up to remove the frame and harness from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

    Take care to avoid damaging the harness.
  15. Remove the seat suspension. See Suspension - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  16. Remove the track covers (x4) from the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly. See Front Track Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace) and Rear Track Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).

Install

  1. Install the track covers (x4) to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly. See Front Track Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace) and Rear Track Cover - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Install the seat suspension. See Suspension - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the seat back frame to the seat cushion frame assembly.

  4. Install new outboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat back frame to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
    43 Nm (31.7 lbs-ft)

  5. Install new inboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat back frame to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
    43 Nm (31.7 lbs-ft)

  6. Install the harness clamps (x6) to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly and ensure all clips are installed in place.
  7. Connect the LH 2nd row seat rail motor connector.
  8. Install the seat cushion blower. See Blower - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the ECU mounting bezel and seat module assembly. See ECU Mounting Bezel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Align the location pins (x2) and install the bolts (x2) that attach the inboard bolster carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)

  11. Secure the clip and install the inboard side shield carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.

  12. Install the push clip securing the inboard side shield carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly.
  13. Install the outboard side shield carrier to the LH 2nd row seat cushion frame assembly. See Outboard Side Shield Carrier - 2nd Row - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  14. Install new LH 2nd row seat belt buckle (3880753-C1-D) to the cushion frame assembly using the included new bolt.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)

  15. Connect the LH 2nd row seat buckle connector and secure the clip.
  16. Install the seat cushion pad assembly to the LH 2nd row seat assembly. Trim - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
