Reuse

Remove

  1. Disconnect LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  2. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH B-pillar accelerometer sensor.

    Note
    Pull the red tab away to disengage the lock, then pull to disconnect the connector.
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH B-pillar accelerometer sensor to the body, then remove the sensor.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Install the bolt that attaches the LH B-pillar accelerometer sensor to the body.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the LH B-pillar accelerometer sensor.
  3. Install the B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Connect LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
