Module - BLE - Interior (Remove and Install)

Torque Specifications

  • 10 mm deep socket
Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Rotate the LH and RH sun visors away from the check bases.

  3. Release the clips that attach the front center of the headliner to the body to gain access to the interior radar.

    CAUTION
    Take care not to bend the headliner. Replace any damaged clips.
  4. Disconnect the interior BLE module connector.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the BLE module to the vehicle, and then release the clip and remove the BLE module.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket

Install

  1. Seat the BLE module at the proper position, secure the clip, and then secure the bolt that attaches the BLE module to the vehicle.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm deep socket
  2. Connect the interior BLE module connector.
  3. Install the clips that attach the front center of the headliner to the body.

    CAUTION
    Take care not to bend the headliner. Replace any damaged clips.
  4. Secure the LH and RH sun visors to the check bases.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH door.
