Camera - Front Fascia (Remove and Install)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
  3. Remove the front fascia camera cover screws (x2).

    • Torx T20 socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  4. Disconnect the front fascia camera electrical connector and nano nozzle.
  5. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera to its housing, and then remove the camera.

    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Install

  1. Install the front fascia camera onto the housing, and then install the screws (x2).
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    • PH1 STUBBY PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  2. Connect the front fascia camera electrical connector and nano nozzle.
  3. Install the front fascia camera cover screws (x2).
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  4. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  5. Clean the camera calibration.
    1. Tap Driver Assist > Cameras > Clear Camera Calibration.
    2. Select Fascia in the Camera Selection dropping list.
    3. Tap Run, and then allow the routine to complete.
  6. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
  7. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
