HVAC- Actuator - Upper (Remove and Install)

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the RH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - RH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the upper mode actuator, disconnect the connector, and then remove the actuator.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 6 mm socket
    • 4 in extension
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Install

  1. Insert the upper mode actuator into the keyway, connect the actuator connector, and then install the screws (x2) that secure the actuator.
    1.25 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 6 mm socket
    • 4 in extension
    • Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm
  2. Install the RH instrument panel air wave duct. See Instrument Panel - Air Wave Duct - RH (Remove and Install).
