Warning
Make sure 12V/LV
power has been disconnected for at least 1 minute before disconnecting the
electrical harness from Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) components, such as
Restraint Control Module, sensors, airbags, etc. Failure to do so can result in
unintended safety system behaviors. For more information on SRS precautions, see
.
Warning
While performing any
Supplementary Restraint System (SRS) related repairs, it is important to disconnect
12V/LV power. If the vehicle’s 12V/LV power is NOT disconnected and the Restraint
Control Module is removed or disturbed, this can result in the deployment of the
vehicle’s airbags.
Remove
- Remove the restrain control module. See Restraint Control Module (Remove and Install).
Install
- Per the local legal regulations, confirm the part number of new restrain control module is correct.
- Install the restrain control module. See Restraint Control Module (Remove and Install).
- Reinstall the vehicle software. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
- On the touchscreen, touch Run to allow the routine to run. , click
- Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.

Perform headlight adjustment and verify vehicle operation.
