Podium - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row RH seat. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the 40 seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH seat cushion harness to the podium.
  4. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  5. Remove the clip that attaches the RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
  6. Remove the RH 2nd row inboard outer B cover. See B-Cover - Outer - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the RH 2nd row inboard inner B cover. See B-Cover - Inner - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Slightly lift the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan upward.

    Note
    Do not fully remove the cushion pan at this time.
  9. Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that attach the RH seat podium to the seat tracks.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 11 mm socket
  10. Remove the 2nd row RH seat podium from the seat tracks.

    Note
    With one hand engage the towel bar, move the inner seat track rearward with the other hand until the groove on the 2nd row seat podium releases from the inner seat track, and then lift the podium upward and remove it from the outer seat track.

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row RH seat podium to the seat tracks.

    Note
    Install the groove on the 2nd row seat podium to the outer seat track, then align the groove to the inner seat track. Engage the towel bar with one hand, and use the other hand to move the inner seat track inward until the groove engages to seat track.
  2. Install new bolts (x2) (1508763-00-B) that attach the RH seat podium to the seat tracks.
    37 Nm (27.3 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 11 mm socket
  3. Fully seat the 2nd row RH seat cushion assembly to the seat frame.

    Note
    Push downwards to fully seat the cushion pan to the seat frame. Be cautious to not pinch the actuator cables or the cushion harness.
  4. Install the clip that attaches the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
  5. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the 2nd row RH seat cushion pan to the seat frame.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm deep socket
  6. Install the RH 2nd row inboard inner B cover. See B-Cover - Inner - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the RH 2nd row inboard outer B cover. See B-Cover - Outer - Inboard - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Install the clips (x2) that attach the 2nd row RH seat cushion harness to the podium.
  9. Install the 40 seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the 2nd row RH seat. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  11. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode.
  12. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  13. Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes): PROC_VCLEFT_X_2R-SEAT-RECLINE-CALIBRATIONvia Service Mode:Low Voltage ➜ Second Row Seats ➜ Calibratevia Toolbox:(link)
  14. Exit Service Mode or disconnect the laptop if applicable (see 0005 - Service Modes).
