Headlamp - ECE LHD - LH (Remove and Install)

Correction code 1740020601 FRT 0.78 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the correction code and its associated FRT reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. Remove

  1. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  2. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH headlight.
    Note
    Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.
  4. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH headlight to the body.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  5. Carefully pull the LH headlight away from the vehicle to release the alignment stud, and release the clips (x2) that attach the headlight to the body.

Install

  1. Align the LH headlight alignment stud to the slot in the vehicle, and then install the clips (x2) that attach the headlight to the body.
  2. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the LH headlight to the body.
    3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the LH headlight.
  4. Install the front fascia assembly. See Front Fascia (Remove and Install).
  5. Connect LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
