Module - Ambient Light - Front Door (Remove and Replace)

Install

  1. Install the front door ambient light module. See Module - Ambient Light - Front Door (Remove and Install).
  2. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  3. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Low Voltage > Interior Lighting > Address RGB Lights > Run, and allow the routine to complete.

    Make sure the vehicle firmware is version 2024.44 or later.
  4. Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  5. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode.
