Knee Impact Foam - Instrument Panel- LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower assembly from IP carrier. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam on lower LH side.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 bit
  3. Remove LH knee impact foam.

    Note
    Pull IP carrier rearward as needed.

Install

  1. Install LH knee impact foam.

    Note
    Pull IP carrier rearward as needed.
  2. Install screws securing IP assembly to cross car beam on lower LH side.
    2.3 Nm (1.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the lower assembly to IP carrier. See Assembly - Instrument Panel - Lower (Remove and Replace).
